GDPR Compliance

GetHello is GDPR-compliant. We process data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Austrian Datenschutzgesetz (DSG).

Data we collect

We collect only what we need to run the service: your email and password (hashed) for your account, your business website and phone number to build the receptionist, and call recordings and transcripts that the AI handles for you. We do not collect or store personal data from your callers beyond what is necessary to answer their call.

Legal basis

Account and business data: performance of our contract with you. Call processing: legitimate interest in delivering the service you signed up for. Marketing emails: your explicit consent, with one-click unsubscribe in every message. Analytics and advertising cookies: your consent via the cookie banner — nothing loads until you press Accept.

Consent

Non-essential cookies (Google Analytics, Meta Pixel) are blocked by default. They activate only after you click Accept on the cookie banner. You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing your browser storage or by contacting us — declining means no analytics or ad tracking runs.

Third-party processors

We do not sell your data. We share it only with providers bound by data processing agreements: Cloudflare (CDN), Twilio (telephony), OpenAI (voice demo), Google Analytics (site analytics), Meta (ad measurement), and Stripe (payments). A full list with purposes is in our Privacy Policy.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, and port your data, and to object to processing or withdraw consent. To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected]. We respond within 30 days. You can also lodge a complaint with the Austrian Datenschutzbehörde.

Data storage

Your data is stored on servers in the European Union. We do not transfer personal data outside the EEA unless a provider offers EU-based processing (for example, Cloudflare and Stripe operate European endpoints).

Retention

Account and business data: kept while your account is active, deleted within 30 days of your request. Call recordings and transcripts: at most 90 days, unless you choose to keep them longer.
